Veterans Day Parade

Veterans are very special people who deserve to be recognized everyday, but especially on Veterans Day. Phenix City will be hosting a parade in honor of veterans and their families at 10 a.m. The parade route will begin on Colin Powell Parkway in Phenix City, come down Broad Street, turn onto 13th Street Bridge into Columbus Georgia, go down Broadway, and end at the corner of Broadway and 9th Street. All veterans are encouraged to participate. The parade will feature military vehicles, privately owned vehicles, floats, bands, marching units, and much more. Onlookers are encouraged to wave flags, hold up signs, and tell the veterans how much they are appreciated as they pass by.
